Have you made a will yet?

You should have a current and valid will to guarantee that when you die your assets are distributed in the way you want.

You should also regularly update your will because circumstances do change.

Be aware that your will becomes invalid when you marry, unless it is stated in the will that the will is made in contemplation of marriage.

It is also important that you revise your will if you divorce.

We can help you in the following ways:

  • Make sure your will is valid, that is, drawn up correctly and signed up and witnessed correctly
  • Make sure your wishes are clearly set out in your will
  • Make sure you have made adequate provision for your spouse and children, including who should be the legal guardian of your children
  • Advise you on choosing an executor and on the executor's right to be paid for his/her time and trouble
  • Advise on the possibilities of claims against your estate
  • Keep your will in safe custody free of charge

Please contact us today. We at Taylors Solicitors can help you to ensure that the intention of your will is safeguarded.
